Girl Watches Porn On iPad To Learn What 'Dad Does To Her'

| by Jonathan Constante

A Texas man has been arrested for sexually abusing his two young daughters.

San Antonio resident Anthony Garay, 31, was arrested on May 24 after his 9-year-old daughter was caught looking up pornography by a teacher at Elm Creek Elementary school about a week prior, the Houston Chronicle reported.

When the teacher asked the young girl why she was searching for porn on her school-issued iPad, the child said she was searching for "what her dad does to her" at night, according to court documents.

The student said her father sexually assaults her "all the time at night" and never lets her sleep. The teacher then reached out to Child Protective Services, and an investigator was sent to the school to interview the young girl.

The girl told the investigator that her father had been sexually abusing her since she was at least 8 years old. She said the abuse would take place at the family's home.

Upon further investigation, the investigator learned that Garay had been previously investigated by Child Protective Services for sexual abuse of both of his daughters.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Garay, and booked him into the county jail on May 24.

Garay is facing a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, which is considered a first-degree felony. He is accused of sexually assaulting his daughter and her sister for at least one entier year.

Garay is being held on a $75,000 bond.

Several social media users have since responded in the comments section of the story on San Antonio Express-News. Most showed disgust for Garay's actions, and some questioned why something wasn't done to the father earlier given his previous investigation by Child Protective Services.

"Since she was eight years old?? Sexual predator," wrote one commenter.

"This poor girl. I'll bet her Dad will be popular in prison," wrote another.

"If guilty, hell has a special place for him. Prison is just the beginning," commented another user.

"Previously investigated?!?! WTH?! why was nothing done at the time? no proof?" asked another.

Other commenters speculated about the school's policies.

"Certainly raises the question why the school district doesn't have parental controls on computers and IPads," one user wrote.

"Maybe. In this case, I'm kind of glad they didn't," responded another. "This situation might have gone on a whole lot longer if the little girl hadn't been 'caught.'"

"Your correct there, still understand that it is very difficult to get a conviction with out a confession or plea in cases like this. emotions of very high, family is very protective of alleged victim," added another commenter. "if he gets an attorney worth his weight in salt, he cant wait to put child on the stand, the last thing the family wants is to put the child on the stand, see where i'm coming from. all very sad."
