Lendsey and Delilha Harbin went to see the movie 'Snitch' on Saturday night at the Portage 16 IMAX multiplex in Portage, Indiana.
According to TheSmokingGun.com, when the film ended, they exited theater #13 and headed into theater #15 to watch the zombie film 'Warm Bodies.'
The Harbins had not purchased $6.25 tickets to 'Warm Bodies,' which resulted in their arrest for felony theft, according to a Portage Police Department report.
Two off-duty cops working security at the Portage 16 IMAX were standing outside theater #13 as 'Snitch' was letting out. When the police did not see the Harbins in the hallway, they checked surrounding theaters and found the couple waiting for 'Warm Bodies' to begin.
After previews had ended and the movie started, the police officers approached the Harbins and requested they exit the theater.
“I know we done wrong,” said Delilha Harbin.
According to the police report, the Harbins claimed they “were at a funeral all day and just were not thinking correctly.”
The Harbins were taken into custody and transported to the Porter County jail, where they were booked on the felony count and later released on their own recognizance.
