Williams claims that he heard some noise, thought someone was breaking in and fired his gun (video below).

"I couldn't see anything, I just heard a lot of crashing, so when I came out to investigate, I saw a light coming towards me, and then that's when I had my gun and I shot,” Williams told My Fox Tampa Bay. “I guess he was coming to do me bodily harm."

After the teen groaned from being wounded, Williams figured out who it was.

"It was really frightening, because after all I did for him, I wouldn't have expected it to be him,” said Williams.

The boy reportedly escaped through the broken window and got away, but neighbors helped Williams call 911.

The teen was later caught by police and taken to a hospital, noted RawStory.com. There has not been any word as to whether or not he will be charged.
