Katrina Tisdale Calls 911 to Get Money Back from Drug Dealer

| by Michael Allen

Unfortunately, it's not unusual these days for people to use the 911 emergency line for trivial things like getting movie times. However, this may be the first case ever of someone calling the police to get a refund from a drug dealer.

Katrina Tisdale allegedly paid $50 to a drug dealer in St. Petersburg, Florida, for some cocaine and marijuana, but then changed her mind because she realized that was all of her money until her next Social Security check. She called 911 to report the drug transaction and asked for help in getting her money back, reports TheSmokingGun.com.

After she called 911 twice with this odd request, police arrested Tisdale for misusing the 911 emergency system.

Tisdale was booked into the Pinellas County jail, where she is being held on $100 bond, which she cannot pay.

According to jail records, Tisdale has six prior arrests for cocaine possession.

Amazingly, this was not the first time she called 911 about a drug deal. She did so in 2011 and was convicted of falsely reporting that she had been robbed by her drug dealer.
