Dario Napolitano, 41, was arrested this past Saturday after he allegedly kicked his 3-year-old son in the face during a trip to the Epcot's World Showcase in Central Florida.
According to the Orange County deputies who originally apprehended Napolitano, witnesses told police that they saw an argument erupt between him and his family right before the alleged incident took place. When it was all said and done, he wound up with a cut below his left eye, bruising above his eyebrow and an entire swollen left eye.
The arrest report notes that an employee "went up to the child and saw that his face was bloody and the child was crying hysterically."
While it’s unclear what precisely led to the altercation, witnesses said that the 3-year-old was crying before the alleged abuse even occurred.
When confronted by police about what had transpired, the child’s father and mother told very different accounts of what happened. Rather than faulting Dario for their 3-year-old’s injuries – they blamed their oldest son.
