A Texas mother of three has been arrested and charged with murdering two of her children.
Sheborah Thomas, 30, was arrested Aug. 14 after police found the bodies of Orayln Thomas, 7, and Kahana Thomas, 5, underneath a neighbor's home, according to KHOU. Thomas' 12-year-old son was not home at the time.
A man tipped off authorities after he saw Thomas throwing out garbage in a vacant lot across from her home. He asked her what she was doing, and when she said she was getting ready to move, he offered to help her pack.
At one point the man asked where Thomas' kids were, and that's when she reportedly confessed to having drowned them in a bathtub two days before.

"She was so matter-of-fact about it, he didn’t think she was serious," Houston police spokesperson Kese Smith said, according to KPRC. "He thought she was joking. He continued to help her pack."
When she gave him the same story a second time, Smith says the man drove to a local police station and reported what he had been told. Officers were then sent to Thomas' home, where they made the gruesome discovery.
A woman who identified herself as the aunt of the victims expressed horror at her sister-in-law's alleged crime.
"While you were there, how did you feel drowning your kids?" she said to KHOU. "You felt something, you felt some kind of guilt, something told you this is not right, but you kept doing it?"

She then stated she hopes Thomas suffers for what she is suspected of having done.
"Sooner or later her day is going to come and I pray to God that she suffers like she … made her kids suffer," she said. "I hope she suffers worse."
Thomas, who moved into her house in April, had no history of mental illness, according to police. Neighbors who knew Thomas were in a state of shock.
"I never would have thought she would do that," neighbor Dee Davis told the Houston Chronicle. "She didn’t seem like the type. She was always with a smile and friendly. How in the hell can she do something like this? You bring life into the world, it's not up to you to take it out. I can't get over this."
"I remember when they first moved in," said Geovanna Brewer, another neighbor. "The kids were happy and everything. It's like a shocker to me."
Child Protective Services (CPS) is participating in the investigation.
"CPS is investigating the deaths of the 5-year-old and 7-year-old in the Third Ward," a statement read, according to KPRC. "We will be working along with [the Houston Police Department] to find out what happened and to make sure any other child or sibling in that home is safe."
Thomas' husband, Danny Ray Thomas, is currently serving a three-year prison sentence for possession of PCP, according to the Houston Chronicle. The couple filed for divorce in 2012.
