Investigators now believe a second car was used in the Watertown shootout, when police confronted Boston Marathon bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Police have tied the brothers to another vehicle, a green Honda, which may have been parked on Laurel Street, in Watertown, during the 200-round shootout in which Tamerlan was fatally wounded.

Investigators believe the Tsarnaevs dumped both the green Honda and the carjacked Mercedes 350 SUV, according to an NBC News probe.

A reenactment on Thursday night by the Massachusetts state police and local law enforcement, showed the green Honda driven to the location where campus police officer Sean Collier was shot and killed at MIT on April 18.

The suspects then carjacked the SUV at gunpoint, driving from Cambridge to Watertown, according to a federal affidavit. The man they carjacked, a Chinese national, who withheld his Chinese name and went by Danny to reporters, was forced to drive around as the carjackers used ATMS, stealing money from his accounts. Danny was eventually let go, unharmed.

“Don’t look at me!” Tamerlan allegedly said to Danny. “Do you remember my face?”

“No, no, I don’t remember anything,” Danny recalled lying.

NBC News reports that photographs and eye witness account they have obtained show both a black Mercedes SUV and a green Honda were parked at the scene of the Watertown shootout. Some accounts claim the Honda was parked behind the Mercedes that night. No one has explained how both vehicles may have arrived at the scene.
