Intoxicated Wisconsin Dad Allegedly Let 11-Year-Old Daughter Drive

| by Sarah Fruchtnicht

A Wisconsin father accused of letting his 11-year-old daughter drive them home after he had too much to drink could face charges in Marathon County.

The girl crashed the SUV into a tree Friday in Wausau.

Her 35-year-old dad was issued a citation for permitting an unauthorized minor to drive. Police recommend charges for recklessly endangering safety.

A 23-year-old father in Ohio was charged with child endangerment earlier this month, when he allegedly let his 9-year-old drive. Jaron McGee was riding in the passenger seat while he let the child drive around a parking lot in an Ohio state park.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

After “achieving excessive speed,” the child slammed directly in a tree, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
