There's a new scam targeting Amazon customers this holiday season that could end up exposing your personal information.
The prominent scam comes in the form of an email that appears to be from Amazon, informing customers that their order isn't able to be shipped, KTTV reports. The message tells the customer that there was a problem with processing the order, and that they needed to confirm their information.
There is reportedly a link in the email that takes the customer to a page where they can enter their information. When the customer submits their name, address and credit card information, they are redirected to Amazon's website.
Scammers are using other sites for the fake campaign as well, according to IBM Security vice president Caleb Barlow.

"This is a $445 billion business," he said, according to USA Today. "These are campaigns, run by the criminal equivalent of marketers."
Subject lines used in the scam include, "We could not deliver your parcel, #00556030," "Problems with item delivery, n.000834069" and "Courier was unable to deliver the parcel, ID00990381."
"It's the bad guys trying to trick you into thinking it's them, not the companies themselves," Barlow said of the scam, which is not at all connected to companies like Amazon, Fedex and UPS, as the emails state.
