An Arkansas man was pocket-dialed by his former boss last Thursday and overheard the boss plotting to murder him.
Larry Barnett, 68, was arrested by Jonesboro police on Thursday after he accidentally called his former employee, according to KAIT-8.
Barnett, who owns Legend Motor Company, a car dealership in Jonesboro, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
The former employee, who was not identified, overheard the murder plot for an hour and half.

“I don’t care if you have to burn his house to the ground with him in it,” Barnett said, according to the probable cause affidavit. “I don’t care what you have to do, make it look like an accident.”
Barnett allegedly offered the third man $5,000 up front and more money once the murder was completed.
“I owe the little son of a [bleep] a bunch of money and if he’s gone, I don’t have to pay for it,” Barnett allegedly said.
He even said he had given the task to another killer who failed to deliver.
“Basically, he overheard a conversation between that individual and another unknown male and he was giving out his personal information, his address, where he lives,” said Jonesboro Sgt. Doug Formon. “The conversation on the phone had already ended but the phone call was still active to Mr. Barnett's cell phone.”
Barnett gave directions to the victim’s house, which was later found burglarized and the gas stove tampered with.
Since his probable cause hearing on Monday, Barnett is also facing separate charges for felony theft greater than $25,000 and felony forgery. He was allegedly falsifying documents for his bank, Jonesboro police said. They believe he stole more than $100,000.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on Tuesday.
