Homeless Man Beaten, Pants Stolen (Video)

Roy Hinsch, who is homeless, had his pants stolen and was beaten in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Thursday at about 2 a.m.

According to Daytona Beach Police, Andre Dyte and Devante Mims (pictured) followed Hinsch out of a store and allegedly demanded money. 

Dyte and Mims allegedly punched and choked the homeless man, who had no money, before removing his pants and running off with the clothing, noted (video below).

According to, a police officer later saw Dyte and Mims toss aside a pair of pants. The officer searched the men and reportedly found Hinsch's ID.

Hinsch identified both Dyte and Mims who were charged with robbery without a firearm and battery.

According to police, both men were on felony probation for robbery and burglary.

Hinsch was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds.
