In Hillside, Illinois, 15 students from Proviso West High School were suspended this week over a wild brawl in the school cafeteria on Monday (video below).
According to NBC Chicago, school security called police at 10:30 a.m. when the fight in the Chicago suburb got out of control.
"This was a bunch of pushing and punching. It was a very typical high school fight," said Hillside Police Chief Joseph Lukaszek.
When police arrived, 15 students were reportedly arrested and suspended from school. However, on Tuesday, Chief Lukaszek said no students were arrested.
School district spokesman Rob Daniel said in a statement: "The school is safe and it remains safe. School dismissal was without incident yesterday, and there have been no incidents today."
