Gary Carl Simmons Jr., Who Chopped Up Jeffery Wolfe, Orders 29,000 Calorie Meal Before Execution
Gary Carl Simmons Jr., who was convicted of chopping up Jeffery Wolfe and raping Wolfe's girlfriend in 1996, ordered a huge 29,000 calorie 'last meal' before his execution on Wednesday night in Mississippi.
According to a Mississippi Department of Corrections' news release, Simmons Jr.,49, ordered a "Pizza Hut medium Super Supreme Deep Dish pizza, 10 packs of Parmesan cheese, 10 packs of ranch dressing, a family-size bag of nacho cheese Doritos, 8 ounces of jalapeno nacho cheese, 4 ounces of sliced jalapeno peppers, 2 large strawberry milkshakes, two cherry Cokes, one super-sized order of McDonald's fries with extra ketchup and mayo and two pints of strawberry ice cream."
The Daily Mail estimated this last meal to be 29,000 calories and 2077 grams of fat. However, it is unknown how much Simmons Jr. actually ate before his execution.
According to Reuters, the murder was a drug deal gone bad. Simmons Jr.'s former brother-in-law Timothy Milano shot Wolfe. Then Simmons, who worked as a butcher, hacked up Wolfe’s body with carving knives in a bathtub and and tossed them in the bayou. He tied up Wolfe’s unnamed girlfriend and raped her.
Wolfe's father told the media that Simmons was a “piece of trash” who was going to "burn in hell."
He told Simmons: "When you take your last breath, I'll be going to have a cold beer."
Simmons' last words were: "I've been blessed to be loved by some good people, by some amazing peopIe. I thank them for their support. Now, let's get it on so these people can go home. That's it."

He'll never burn off those calories, but then, I guess he doesn't need to. It was nice, though, that he asked only for food from moderately priced restaurants.

He deserves whatever the other prisoners were eating. Why should being a murderer and rapist get him special treatment? He put himself in the position and place he was.

So why does he gets to special order? Someone has to go get it, someone has to pay for it. They have food in prison, he's been eating it for years. His picture looks like he's been eating it just fine.
