A woman in Florida was attacked while she was showing a home on Aug. 10 (video below).

The incident occurred when the realtor, 69, showed a home in Manatee County, Florida, to a man who went by the name “Jim.”

According to Foz 13, Jim went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet before informing the realtor that there was a leak. When she went to check on the leak, the man allegedly began to force himself onto her.

When the woman told the man that the homeowners were close by and would be back soon he fled the scene. She then called emergency officials to come to her aid.

The man was described as a balding white middle-aged man. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs roughly 250 pounds. At the time of the attack he was wearing camo shorts as well as a gray polo shirt. He drove away in a dark full-size, extended-cab truck.

An hour after the attack, another realtor was targeted. A woman involved in that incident told police that she stayed outside and let the man enter alone after receiving the alert.

“I just can’t believe this would happen,” neighbor Jim Way told Fox 13 reporters. “Something like this in this neighborhood. We don’t have any real problems here.”

According to neighbors, the community is generally quiet and safe.

“It’s pretty scary,” said another female realtor. “I got this alert at 5:06 p.m. from the Realtor Associate of Sarasota and Manatee. This gives us a rundown of exactly what happened and puts a warning out to us agents to be careful.”

To her, the recent assault comes as a reality check.

"We have to be really diligent that we don't put ourselves in situations where we could face something like this," she said. "Don't go by yourself to meet someone you don't know. We have a form they can fill out and give us their ID. If they have got nothing to hide, they shouldn't be afraid to do that and it protects us."
