Florida Prosecutor Accidentally Releases George Zimmerman's College Records, Trayvon Martin Death Photo

Prosecutors in the George Zimmerman murder case accidentally released a photocopied, blurry morgue photo of Trayvon Martin and copies of George Zimmerman’s college records.

Prosecutor Angela Corey’s office accidentally released the content to various media outlets, including TheSmokingGun.com, which reported on the incident.

According to Florida State law, the unauthorized distibution was a violation.

However, an aide in Angela Corey’s office stated to the media that a “photo depicting the killing of a person was confidential and exempt” from state law.

Seminole State College of Florida records show Zimmerman’s bad grades and academic probation. Zimmerman was working towards his Associate Degree in criminal justice.
