A man hacked a pregnant woman to death with a machete before being run over by a BMW.
The man, a Syrian refugee, killed the pregnant woman at a bus station in Germany, reports the Daily Mail. The two worked at the same snack bar and the killing was described as a “crime of passion.”
Photos from the scene of the horrifying incident show the suspect bleeding severely, lying on the ground in a fetal position. Police officers stand over the man; there is a knife a few feet away.
In addition to killing the pregnant woman, the suspect also reportedly injured a 51-year-old woman whose car he ambushed, and slashed the face of a 23-year-old man. Another man, who was believed to have been passing the incident at the time, ran over the attacker in his BMW.
