Fiona Clarke, a home health aide, was recently arrested in Norwalk, Conn., after allegedly leaving feces in her former employer’s fridge and oven after she was laid off.
Police say Clarke was asked if she wanted to work more hours. When she declined, the family of the elderly woman who she worked for hired another home health aid to cover the hours that Clarke could not work.
Clarke was later fired after reportedly being unfriendly to the new employee. In an act of revenge, Clarke allegedly placed feces in the oven and refrigerator of the elderly woman whom she cared for, reports TheHour.com.
A family member first noticed a foul smell when she turned on the oven in February.
Police told the Connecticut Post that Clarke denied everything during the investigation until last week when she turned herself in.
Clarke was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.
She will appear in court this Thursday, March 7.
