Former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner allegedly shot three of his old colleagues on Thursday, ultimately killing one. He is also believed to have shot and killed the daughter of another police officer and her fiancé over the weekend.
Dorner, 33, began his spree of violence after posting a string of bizarre messages on Facebook. According to the NY Post, Dorner’s pickup truck has been found in Big Bear, Calif., but he remains on the loose.
Dorner foreshadowed what he was going to do when he began his online rant by writing, “The Violence of action will be HIGH ... Whatever pre-planned responses you have established for a scenario like me, shelve it.”
In a strange shift of focus, Dorner then went on to offer some words of encouragement to embattled New York Jets quarterback, Tim Tebow.
“Tebow, I really wanted to see you take charge of an offense again and the game. You are not a good QB by today’s standards, but you are a great football player who knows how to lead a team and WIN,” he wrote. “You will be ‘Tebowing’ when you reach your next team. I have faith in you. Get out of that circus they call the Jets.”
Dorner then went on to talk about what he would miss because of his actions, bemoaning the fact that he probably wouldn’t be around to see the third edition of The Hangover or the next installment of Shark Week.
Larry David, Chris Christie and even Charlie Sheen got mentioned by Dorner:
To Larry David: “I agree. 72-82 degrees is way too hot in a residence. 68 degrees is perfect.”
“Gov. Chris Christie. What can I say? You’re the only person I would like to see in the White House in 2016 other than Hillary.”
And finally, “Charlie Sheen, you’re effin awesome.”
