An Indiana man called 911 to report that he was driving drunk on Interstate 65 in Jasper County and needed to be taken off the road.
Indiana State Police arrested Matthew Devore, 24, in the early morning hours on Monday for driving while intoxicated.
According to police, Devore lost control of his car and ended up on a grassy median. When he moved the car, he discovered that it had a flat tire and pulled over onto the shoulder. They say that’s when Devore called 911 to report himself.
Devore’s blood alcohol level was .09 at the time of his arrest, just over Indiana’s legal limit of .08.
