Drugs, Theft, and Incest: These Houston Siblings Have Done It All

| by Lina Batarags

After Charlene Marie Ellet of Houston, Texas was found to be shoplifting in a Montgomery County Walmart on Friday afternoon, Loss Prevention officers had her detained.

Ellet, 25, told the officers that her brother, Cameron Beck, had driven her and her 2-year-old twins to the store; shortly thereafter, Beck appeared at the Loss Prevention Office, looking for his sister.

Deputies obtained permission to search Beck’s car, where they found a backpack containing a light bulb with burn marks and a “cut pen with a crystal substance on it.”

The substance was tested, and results indicated that it was Methamphetamine. Ellet admitted that she and Beck had smoked it about two weeks earlier.

The siblings were placed in custody for possession of a controlled substance, prompting Beck to ask if it were possible for only his sister to be charged. Prior to this incident, Ellet had had a clean record.

Beck, 26, had previously spent in time in prison; he was released in November of last year.

Ellet and Beck were placed in adjoining cells. Later, as the Montgomery Police Reporter describes, Deputies witnessed Beck and Ellet “kissing each other on the lips through the bars.”

When a deputy questioned Ellet’s earlier statement that Beck was her brother, she again confirmed that this was, indeed, the case.

Ellet was removed from her cell, taken to yet another office, and questioned about the increasingly strange relationship. Ellet explained that she was adopted, and that she and Beck had the same biological mother but different fathers. While Beck had been in prison, they had kept in contact by writing to each other.

Furthermore, Ellet specified that they had been staying in a motel, where she and her brother shared a bed with the young twin girls.

Ellet then admitted to being involved in a sexual relationship wither brother ever since his release from prison.

She described that she and her brother would have sex while her children were in the same room, separated from them only by a partition. At other times, they would go to the bathroom.

Ellet and Beck were both placed in the Montgomery County Jail for possession of a controlled substance and prohibited sexual behavior. Ellet was also issued a citation for shoplifting under $50.

The twin girls were released to Ellet’s sister.
