When police stopped 47-year-old Adrian Harold Pounders during a traffic stop on Jan. 3, they were led to Pounders’ residence under credible suspicion that he had drugs in his Crockett, Texas, home.
Police said they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in Pounders’ home, and when he was booked, Pounders was wearing a gray shirt that read, “Don’t meth with me.”
The shirt reportedly came from a Texas-based anti-meth campaign, according to My San Antonio.
Pounders is now facing drug possession and child endangerment charges. Police discovered Pounders’ 13-month-old son living at the home, the New York Daily News reports.
Pounders has been a registered sex offender since 2013, according to Texas state records.
