Detroit Police Searching For Men Involved In Three Sexual Assaults (Photos)

Multiple men in Detroit, Michigan, are wanted for allegedly attacking two couples, robbing them, and forcing each man to watch while they sexually assaulted the woman he was with.

The attacks occurred Thursday evening on Detroit’s west side very close in time to one another.

“It’s horrifying,” Deputy Chief Charles Fitzgerald said. “You try to teach people to walk in pairs, and (the victims) did.”

The first couple, both in their early twenties, were walking when six men confronted them and dragged them into an alley, reports The Detroit News.

“One of the suspects produced a gun, pointed it at both victims and advised them to go to an alley,” Fitzgerald said. “Both victims complied. They were forced to the ground. The male victim was forced to watch the female victim get sexually assaulted. Their clothing was taken.”

Less than two hours later, two men did the same thing with another young couple. The man was forced to watch as the men sexually assaulted the woman. Their clothing was taken as well.

Police believe the cases are connected.

The suspects fled the scene on foot but were seen nearby in a blue Ford SUV, reports WXYZ.

The first suspect is thought to be a black male with medium complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds. He had a goatee, beard, and a mustache, and wore a blue Polo jogging suit with a red Polo emblem.

The second suspect is a male with a light complexion, around 21 years old, 5 foot 8 inches tall, and weighing 220 pounds with a mustache, beard, and goatee. He wore a black hoodie, black jogging pants, and was armed with a handgun.

The rest of the suspects are described as black males.

Police are investigating whether the two attacks on Thursday are linked to a July 11 incident that had similar circumstances, reports The Detroit News.

The suspect in that attack was described as a 6 foot tall male in his early 20s, wearing a black hoodie, black jogging pants, and white Air Jordan shoes.
