Sarah Palin’s son was arrested on domestic violence charges on Jan. 18 in Alaska after allegedly punching his girlfriend in the face.

A police report states that Track Palin’s girlfriend was found cowering under a bed, crying and with “bruising and swelling around her left eye,” according to the Daily Mail.

The next day, Sarah announced she was endorsing Donald Trump’s bid for presidency.

Track, a 26-year-old Iraq combat veteran, reportedly attacked his 22-year-old girlfriend after learning she had been in touch with an ex-boyfriend.

“[Track] struck her on the left side of her head near her eye with a closed fist," police officer Andrew Kappler wrote in a report. “[His girlfriend] got on the ground in a fetal position because she didn't know what else he would do. Palin then kicked [her] on the right knee.”

Track also allegedly pointed a gun at his head and threatened to commit suicide with an assault rifle.

“Do you think I'm a p---y?” he reportedly screamed at the girl. “Do you think I won't do it?”

“[Track's] eyes were bloodshot and I detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and person,” Kappler wrote. "Upon contacting Palin, he was uncooperative, belligerent, and evasive with my initial line of questions."

Sarah blames President Barack Obama for not providing veterans with adequate care, USA Today reports.

“Like so many others, [veterans] come back a bit different; they come back hardened,” Sarah said at a rally in Oklahoma on Jan. 20.

“I can certainly relate to other families who feel these ramifications of PTSD ... our soldiers do return with," she added. "And it makes me realize more than ever it is now or never for the sake of America’s finest that we have a commander-in-chief who will respect them.”

In September 2014, Track -- as well as various members of the Palin family who have not served in war -- had another run-in with police, according to The Smoking Gun.

Officials report Sarah's daughter Bristol Palin punched somebody in the face, while Track was found with blood on his hands. He was belligerent until his mother instructed him to speak to an officer.
