A North Carolina dentist who pleaded guilty to charges of injecting semen into the mouths of his patients in 2005 is reportedly attempting to open a new clinic in Belize.

Dr. John Hall had a history of injecting his own semen into the mouths of female patients at his clinic in Cornelius, North Carolina — telling a patient on one occasion that he was “going to put something in her mouth that would taste funny, but would stop the bleeding,” Vice reported. Two of his employees began investigating and collecting syringes after overhearing a patient object to the strange fluid on the grounds that it “smelled like sperm.” DNA tests showed that the syringes had traces of semen in them.

Another woman alleged in court that Hall once approached her while in the dental chair and began to “gyrate against her lower body in a sexual manner.”

After pleading guilty to the charges brought against him, Hall spent four months in jail and had his dentistry license revoked.

Hall reportedly relocated to the country of Belize, where he recently ran an advertisement in the San Pedro Sun in search of a dental assistant — followed by several more ads relating to the launch of a new clinic. Tamara Sniffin, editor of the San Pedro Sun, quickly became suspicious of Hall and began investigating his past.

“On the morning of [Dec.] 7, [2015], I went to the San Pedro Police Department, armed with a folder full of printed articles and info on the deviant, disgusting behavior of Dr. Hall,” Sniffin told Vice.

“There was no way in hell I was going to let that pervert touch one person on this island and I thank those who brought it to our attention and worked with us on shutting this creep down," Sniffin added.

Hall was arrested but posted bail, only to publish a 1,400-word manifesto denying his crime and maintaining his innocence.

I never thought I would be ridiculed, cussed at, and made fun of with harmful threats to me and my dog based on assumptions instead of facts,” he wrote. “When I was accused of a disgusting and absurd action of placing semen in patient's mouths. I did not do what I was accused of doing!"

Hall is currently awaiting trial in San Pedro, and he is scheduled for a Feb. 12 court date, reported Vice.
