An Ohio mother was reportedly stabbed by her daughter multiple times in what she is calling another Slender Man-inspired attack.

The mother, who has not been named publicly, says she came home to find her 13-year-old daughter in the kitchen wielding a knife.

“She had her hood up and had her hands covered with her sleeves and the mask,” the mother told WLWT News 5’s Karin Johnson. The mask the daughter wore was white.

The daughter allegedly attacked the mother with the knife, giving her cuts on her neck and face, and a puncture wound to her back, reports the Daily Mail.

The mother claims her daughter was obsessed with the fictional character Slender Man and that during the attack she claimed to be playing a role.

“(She) mentioned playing a role. (I) got the feeling she was playing a role. It didn't feel like her at all,” the mother said.

The mother states that her daughter has mental health issues, but that she never imagined she would do something like this.

The daughter has always been drawn to darkness in her writings and drawings, referencing demons and insanity.

In the game Minecraft, the daughter created a world for Slender Man.

“We found things that she had written and she made reference to Slender Man. She also made references to killing,” the mother said. “She even created a world for Slender Man in the game mine craft.”

The daughter is currently in the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center and is facing charges as a juvenile. According to the mother, her daughter does not remember the attack.

This attack comes just a week after two 12-year-old Wisconsin girls, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, allegedly stabbed their schoolmate in order to please Slender Man. The victim of the attack was stabbed 19 times and, according to court documents, the girls plan was to murder the girl and then meet Slender Man in his national park located mansion. Their victim survived the attack and the girls are facing up to 60 years in prison if convicted.
