Dad Attacks Memphis Man With Baseball Bat for Trying to Sell His 12-Year-Old Daughter for Sex

| by Lisa Fogarty

A Tennessee dad took the law into his own hands when he reportedly attacked a man with a baseball bat whom he believes tried to sell his 12-year-old daughter for sex.

Brian Jones, 33, reportedly called Memphis police after he says the girl’s father locked him in the back of a van on Sunday. But instead of arresting the dad, cops turned their attention to Jones, who has been accused of holding the man’s young daughter against her will so that she can perform sex acts with several men, reports the New York Daily News.

Jones reportedly confessed that he let a man bring the tween to his apartment and that he was aware that she was engaging in sexual activity in one of his bedrooms, reports WMC.

The suspect is being held on $200,000 bond and faces charges of trafficking sexual servitude and two counts of raping a child.

Jones’s neighbor, Curtis Nelson Jr., says he was shocked when he heard about the arrest.

“He was a person always trying to demand women around and stuff, but I didn’t know that he was that type of person, but I guess you can’t trust nobody out here.”

So far, none of the men who reportedly engaged in sex acts or visited Jones’s apartment to have sex with the girl have been arrested.
