| by Michael Allen

An armed customer may have become scared and accidentally killed two employees of the Wingstop restaurant in Oakland, California at 11:45 p.m. on Monday night.

Jose Santa Maria and Kenneth Bradley were identified as the restaurant employees who were fatally shot (video below).

According to the Piedmont Patch, Oakland police interim Chief Sean Whent said that one of two suspects had been arrested, and that robbery was not a motive.

"Through our investigation, we figured out who we were looking for and were able to do surveillance and take that person into custody," said Whent.

Oakland police department sources told the San Francisco Chronicle that it's possible one of the customers shot the employees by mistake.

The suspects entered Wingstop wearing orange vests, got scared and ran to the freezer area. Maria and Bradley followed them and were killed.
