In an unbelievable story, a father and stepmother who reportedly killed their 7-year-old son and fed him to pigs were found living in a horror house.

Michael A. Jones, 44, was originally arrested on Nov. 25 after he allegedly fired a gun at his wife, 29-year-old Heather Jones, the Daily Beast reports. Not longer after the arrest, however, police were notified that the Michael's son, Adrian, had been missing and his body was buried on the couple's property in Kansas City, Kansas.

Human remains -- which are yet to be identified -- were subsequently found on the property, and it was determined that they had been fed to swine.

When police investigated the property, they discovered dead mice, cages of rats, rat poison, syringes and pornographic videos inside, according to the NY Daily News. The couple had lived in the home with Adrian and six girls.

Property owner Jennifer Hoevers, who rented the homes to the Jones’, said she was shocked and disgusted when she went inside the house.

“It took my breath away,” Hoevers told Fox 4 KC. “Fast food wrappers everywhere. There’s milk, rotting food everywhere.”

Hoevers noted that there was black mold growing throughout the house and bullet holes in the wall. An entire bathroom had been torn apart and the swimming pool had been ruined. Recently, she started a GoFundMe page to fix the rental.

Hoevers initially rented the home to the Jones’ because they appeared to be polite and needed a home for their kids. The couple had even shown interest in buying the property one day.

Now, the $500,000 house Hoevers and her deployed husband put their life savings into has been destroyed.

Michael is currently being held on $10 million bond. Heather is being held on $5 million bond. Both have been charged with child abuse and first-degree murder, among other charges.
