A Wisconsin man who was busted for downloading child porn had more than 1,000 images of young girls in his collection.

Pablo Beyer, 30, was charged with 10 counts of felony possession of child pornography when he was arrested Nov. 13 by Waukesha police, reports Waukesha NOW. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison for each charge.

Police said a detective discovered a local IP address had been accessing child porn sites, and the investigation led to Beyer's brother, who shares an apartment with the accused man. On. Nov. 12 police executed a search warrant on the house. After questioning both brothers they realized Pablo Beyer was the one who had been downloading the images on the Internet connection registered to his brother.

According to the complaint, Beyer's brother tried to intervene several times to get him to stop downloading child pornography, but Beyer ignored his efforts. The brother was questioned but wasn't charged.

Between his laptop and a portable hard drive, Beyer had more than 1,000 images of young girls, mostly between the ages of 10 and 13 years old. Beyer, who told police he was "turned on" by images of "the faces of the models and their feet," reportedly admitted he had been collecting child pornography since he was 17 years old, continuing the habit for more than a decade.

Beyer returned to court for a hearing Nov. 18 after he was sent to jail with bail set at $20,000 cash. A court order prohibits him from having any contact with children if he's released from jail.
