New Jersey police officer, Joseph Walker, was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing Joseph Harvey in a case of road rage on Saturday in Maryland (video below).
Walker and his family were traveling through Maryland back to New Jersey.
The alleged shooting happened on Route 3, as Walker's wife and three children looked on in horror.
The details to what led to the shooting are not clear, but apparently both men pulled onto the shoulder of the road.
Harvey got out of his car with another man and began walking toward Walker’s minivan, and that's when shots rang out, reports CBS Baltimore.
A call was made to 911, and Harvey was taken to a hospital where he died.
Walker was charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter. He is being held on $1 million bail.
