Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones claimed today on his radio show that the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, yesterday was "absolutely staged" by the federal government.
Jerad and Amanda Miller reportedly killed two police officers and another victim, wounded several other people and then shot themselves as part of a "suicide pact" at a nearby Walmart.
According to witnesses, the Millers said, "This is the start of a revolution," and draped Gadsden flags over the victims. Gadsden flags are often used by the Tea Party.
Jerad Miller, a fan of Alex Jones and his website InfoWars.com, posted on his Facebook page: "infowars.com get informed or get stupid."
After the media reported this, Jones went ballistic on his radio show today.
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
"There is so much proof of this being staged yesterday, when I first read about it, and this morning, that my mind exploded with hundreds of data points, and quite frankly it's conclusive," claimed Jones, notes MediaMatters.org (audio below).
As his proof, Jones recalled his "hundreds of predictions."
Jones also claimed Sen. Harry Reid (D) was somehow behind the Las Vegas shootings.
"I kept telling, they're getting ready to false flag, and it happens right in Harry Reid's district, right in his state, right in his city, with his police department," stated Jones.
RightWingWatch.org reports that Jones claimed on his Infowars.com Internet TV show (video below) that the "likes" on Jerald Miller's Facebook, which included numerous posts of Infowars.com, were part of a plan “demonizing yours truly."
