A Connecticut man was arraigned Monday on charges of threatening and disorderly conduct after he stabbed a watermelon in a "passive-aggressive" way.
Carmine Cervellino, 49, was reported to authorities by a woman who felt he was trying to intimidate her after she told police that she found marijuana and a pill container in Cervellino’s tool box on July 4, according to the Register Citizen.
The woman said that when she returned home later on, she saw that Cervellino had left a watermelon with a butcher knife in it sitting on her kitchen counter. Cervellino allegedly entered the room soon after and began carving the watermelon in a “passive-aggressive” way.
Cervellino was released after posting a $500 bond, according to Fox News. The case has been referred to Family Services.
