Casey Anthony's Dad: Casey Gave Caylee Illegal Drugs

| by Lauren Briggs

Casey Anthony's estranged father, George, said in an interview that he believes his daughter was giving his 2-year-old granddaughter "street drugs" in the month before her death.

"Caylee was always a very healthy child, a very healthy girl, but there were times that she would sleep for 10, 12, 13 hours at a time, makes no sense to me," George Anthony said during the finale of the TV special "Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery," according to the Daily Mail.

"When I would see her from one day to the next, it was totally different. I could see a difference with blackness underneath the eyes and stuff like that. A 2-and-a-half, 3-year old child would not have that unless something is going on … I believe she gave her something. Yeah, that's just my beliefs," George continued.

George went on to explain in the interview that he thought Casey was giving Caylee "street drugs and also illegal drugs" that included a "Xanax-type thing."

"Caylee was with Casey, I believe that Casey gave her something and Caylee didn't wake up," George said.

The father also pointed out that "Zannie" is a street nickname for Xanax. It is also the name Casey gave an emergency dispatcher when asked where her daughter was. When Caylee first went missing, Casey said that a woman she later named as Zenaida Gonzales Fernandez had taken her, notes Reuters.

"A lot of people know that Zannie is the slang term for Xanax so as soon as I heard 'Zannie the nanny,' that's what popped into my mind and I thought that she was using Xanax to babysit her child," Clint House, a friend who had been living with Casey's boyfriend at the time, said on the special.

George called it "a bunch of bulls***" to think that Caylee drowned in a pool.

This young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true:

"That's too easy of a story to bring up cause if that would've happened, I think my daughter would have at least have had the common decency to come inside and call 911 and say something [like] 'My daughter's in the pool, I can't get her,'" he said.

George also revealed that he and his daughter will never speak to each other again and that their relationship is "done."

"When all this stuff happened, I lost my daughter and my granddaughter, I lost them both," he said, adding that he would consider it justice to have Casey "behind bars and to have her suffer like Caylee suffered."
