New York police are searching for a man who shot another person he was arguing with several times in a Bronx store and then hit him with his gun in the head before running away.

New surveillance footage of the crime, which took place Saturday morning, was recently released. The video shows multiple people step over the 37-year-old victim of the shooting after the incident without helping him before walking out of the store, according to the NY Daily News.

The two men were reportedly arguing about the logistics of filming a rap music video and which one of them would star in the video.

"They were fighting over who's the star, who's better," said Ali Abdul, the store owner. "They were drunk. They spit at each other, then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times."

The suspect was wearing a red polo shirt, jeans and a baseball cap and had braided hair, officials said.

The man who was shot was in critical condition and the case was still under investigation Monday.
