Christopher Moore, a burglary suspect, called 911 on Tuesday to report that he was being held at gunpoint by a Springtown, Texas homeowner and his stepson (video below).

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. when James Gerow and his wife woke up to find Moore in their bedroom.

Moore walked out of their home and sat in his pickup truck, which was parked in the family’s driveway, reports Fox 4 News.

Gerow followed him with a pistol, took Moore’s keys and blocked his pickup truck with his own car, while his stepson held a shotgun on Moore.

Gerow told his stepson: “If he gets out of the truck, shoot him in the legs. You ain’t gotta kill him; just shoot him in the legs.”

When deputies arrived, both Moore and Gerow were on the phone with 911.

Moore was arrested and charged with burglary of a home, and his bail was set at $35,000.
