A brawl broke out during a birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant in Boyton Beach, Florida, which led to one person getting shot on Saturday night (video below).
According to WPBF-TV, police said 18 people got into a fight after exchanging words during a child’s birthday party.
Gregory Smith Jr. was shot in the leg inside his car but suffered non-life-threatening injuries, reports the Palm Beach Post.
Popular VideoCongress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?
Additionally, three people allegedly left the restaurant without paying their nearly $300 bill. Alfred Warren Peoples Jr., Robert Thompson and Briana G. Walker (pictured) were each arrested and face numerous drug-related charges in addition to one count each of defrauding an innkeeper.
Walker and Thompson were released Sunday after posting bond, but Peoples remained in jail on Monday on a $26,000 bond.
The three people had no involvement in the shooting, said Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater.
“We are proud of the swift action by our team to get those involved in the incident outside our store and away from other guests,” Michelle Chism, spokeswoman for Chuck E. Cheese told the Sun-Sentinel.
The unidentified gunman remains at large.
