An 11-year-old boy and his 13-year-old female cousin are accused of setting a fire inside a Walmart in Columbia, South Carolina, on Dec. 31, 2014.

The Columbia Police Department claims the boy stole a lighter from the Walmart and, with his cousin, started a fire in the greeting card aisle.

The parents turned the pair into police on Jan. 23.

The boy and girl, who have not been identified because of their ages, were both charged with third degree arson, which is a felony. The boy was also charged with shoplifting, noted The Smoking Gun.

No injuries were reported in the fire. Columbia firefighters evacuated the Walmart, which reopened shortly after being temporarily closed due to damages.

Police claim they have surveillance video of the juveniles entering the store on New Year’s Eve. The kids were released in their parents' custody.

According to the Daily Mail, police are also investigating an adult male in a vehicle, Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, who may be linked to the fire.
