Blaine Boudreaux has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter, intoxicated assault and failure to stop and render aid involving death after he reportedly killed two people and injured three others in Houston in three separate cases of drunk driving.

Daily Mail reported that the 34-year-old Boudreaux was involved in a car accident at about 3 p.m. on April 26. A mother and her 2-year-old child were hospitalized but released soon after. Boudreaux was issued a ticket and allowed to leave the scene.

Houston police said he then ran over 61-year-old Leonard Batiste, a homeless man walking near the University of Houston at about 5:15 p.m. His body was only discovered the next day, along with the fender and license plate of Boudreaux’s car.

KHOU reported that Boudreaux fell asleep at the wheel at a red light after running the man over. He was reportedly woken up by another driver honking at him at about 6:30 p.m., at which point ran a red light at the intersection and hit a Civic driven by Cynthia Medrano.

Medrano’s son Joshua was killed in the accident and Medrano was left with broken bones and a punctured lung. Boudreaux was arrested at the scene after failing a sobriety test.

Assistant District Attorney Alison Baimbridge said the office is investigating the first accident and whether Boudreaux should have been detained.

Boudreaux arraignment showed that he has multiple outstanding warrants for DUIs in Louisiana and has also jumped bail.

His bail was set at $100,000 for each charge.

Multiple members from the Medrano family attended the arraignment, where one woman yelled at Boudreaux, “I hope you die!”
