Beer Thirsty Woman Assaults Husband With Ceramic Squirrel

| by Jonathan Wolfe

A woman from Charleston, South Carolina really freaked out on Christmas Eve when her husband returned from a beer run empty handed.

According to NBC Charleston, 44 year old Helen Ann Williams sent her husband out to grab the couple some beer on Tuesday. But because it was Christmas Eve, stores closed up earlier than usual. When he returned home without any brew, Williams lost it.

While her husband was making a sandwich, Williams reportedly picked up a decorative ceramic squirrel and smashed it over his head. The blow knocked her husband to the ground, but she wasn’t done with him yet. As he lay on the ground, Williams allegedly took a piece of the now-broken squirrel and stabbed him in the chest.

The husband ran to a neighbors house and called 911. When officers arrived, Williams tried convincing them that her husband merely fell to the ground and hurt himself. But after some probing, she told authorities what she had done. The blood all over her hands and clothes probably gave her away.

Williams was arrested and charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. She is being held on $10,000 cash bond and has a court hearing scheduled for April.
