A former Morgan Stanley banker accused of covertly filming sexual encounters with three women allegedly confessed to one of the victims, who recorded the admission.
John C. Kelly, 32, is accused of filming his sexual partners without their knowledge more than a dozen times between May 2011 and December 2012.
“I’m not innocent, I’ve said exactly what I’ve done. I lied about having sex with someone else and I videotaped it for my own watching enjoyment. Which is weird but ... ,” Kelly reportedly says in the surreptitious recording.
“I didn’t know that you were filming it and I trusted you,” the victim tells him.
“It was once. And I had totally forgotten about it,” he says. “Like I never had watched it.”
The victim also confronted him about the title of the secret porn movie he made of her - “India Research,” in reference to her ethnicity.
When she asked him if he realized how much his actions hurt her, he allegedly said, “Big f**king deal. I never showed anyone.”
Kelly is charged with 31 felony counts of unlawful surveillance and attempted unlawful surveillance, as well as a dissemination charge for showing at least one video to a friend.
The recording was allegedly made before his arrest in November 2013.
He allegedly told investigators that he didn’t mean to record his sexual escapades, but that they were inadvertently caught on pup cam, which is meant to record his puggle dog and upload the footage online.
“It’s on and sometimes stays on. So I accidentally recorded myself having sex because it’s always recording,” police say Kelly told them during an interview on Feb. 26, 2013.
“What is this? An NSA doggie cam?” a 37-year-old victim told The Post. “These recordings were so clearly deliberate.”
“The videos are very shocking and disturbing,” said another victim, 34, who believed she was in an exclusive relationship with Kelly. “It’s so creepy, because you can see him [on the video] setting them up, clicking away while we’re out of the room. And they’re angled in such a way that he’s showing off every intimate part of our bodies.
“People were crying when they saw them because they’re so violating — he would look at the camera and it was clear that we didn’t know what he was doing,” she added.
Victims said Kelly would bring his laptop over to their homes claiming he had work to do. He then allegedly left the computer facing the bed when sexual activity occurred.
