Two suspected bank robbers were arrested in Lewiston, Idaho last week, and the shirt that one was wearing in his mug shot was perfectly ironic.
35-year-old Rocky Fisher and 19-year-old Jennifer Balfe were arrested on suspicions that they robbed a bank. According to reports, an anonymous person tipped off police when the two were seen spending large amounts of money at a casino. The timing of the casino incident lined up with a local bank robbery that happened just prior.
“We received several tips during our investigation and appreciate the public’s assistance,” said a police spokesman in a press release last week.
The two were walking out of a Lewiston hotel when they were arrested, and when they were being detained, it was clear that Fisher’s choice of shirt was perfect for the situation.
“It’s all fun and games until the cops show up,” read Fisher’s shirt.
The pair was arrested on Sunday evening and are each facing robbery, burglary, and grand theft charges. Police also say they may have been responsible for two other robberies that happened in Ontario, Oregon earlier this month, although those investigations continue.
