An Alabama man has been indicted after allegedly sexually abusing and sodomizing a 3-year-old girl.
According to authorities, 23-year-old Jimmy Andrew Burcham of Phil Campbell, in Franklin County, Alabama, sexually molested a 3-year-old girl, the Times Daily reports.
Burcham was arrested on April 17 after an investigation by the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office. According to Sheriff's investigator Lt. Justin Trulove, Burcham admitted to playing a game with the toddler called "refrigerator magnet."
In the game, Burcham would put a magnet on inappropriate parts of his body, such as his genitals, and have the girl find the magnet.

Burcham is reportedly a family acquaintance of the young girl. The toddler allegedly told authorities that she had been inappropriately touched by Burcham and that she was afraid of him.
Authorities said they have since discovered that Burcham engaged in "deviate sexual intercourse" with the girl.
According to authorities, the abuse has been ongoing since December 2015.
In June, a grand jury indicted Burcham on four counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 and one count of first-degree sodomy.
First-degree sodomy is a Class A felony, punishable by 10 years to life with parole, if convicted. Sexual abuse of a child under 12 is a Class B felony, punishable by two to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
Burcham is currently out of jail, awaiting trial on $250,000 bond. He is set to be arraigned on June 28.
