Florida Man Andrew Fatzinger Supposedly Stops For Beer While Being Chased By Police

| by

A Florida man was being chased down by police after allegedly looting a home in Port St. Lucie when he stopped to grab a beer. Actually, it was two.

When police arrived on the scene, they found it looted, vandalized with mustard graffiti and covered with “illegible scribblings.” 21-year-old Andrew Fatzinger was spotted pacing in and out of the house wearing a t-shirt over his head. He apparently had a suitcase filled with laptops, electronics, and medications.

A judge looked this inmate straight in the eyes and said something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

An officer confronted Fatzinger and he took off running. Police initially lost track of him, but soon spotted the suspected looter a few blocks away from the break-in. The cops gave chase a second time

A deputy in a police helicopter that was helping keep track of Fatzinger said he saw the young man briefly disappear into a house and then re-emerge moments later with two bottles of beer. He got rid of the bottles as he ran, presumably after guzzling them.

A K-9 unit eventually caught up to Fatzinger. He punched the dog but was subdued and arrested. His charges include burglary, grand theft, striking a police dog and resisting arrest with violence. The damage to the home was estimated to be over $5,000.

The owner of the two beers also wants to press charges, The Inquisitr reported.
