The "War on Drugs" came to Etowah County, Ala. yesterday where local police arrested 30 people on 46 warrants.

One of the men arrested in the drug raid was Heath McDonald, who was wearing Alabama Crimson Tide pajama pants, noted Fox Sports (video below).

While in handcuffs, McDonald told CBS 42 reporter Kaitlin McCulley, "I'm innocent. Roll Tide."

McCulley, who cheerleaded the raid, tried to get comments from others being arrested, but no else one was talking.

Later, McDonald told McCulley that he did not have a prescription for the pills that he was arrested for. McCulley then asked him why he did it, and the Alabama football fan replied, "It was stupid."

“We get them at home. They do stay up all night, but they tend to go back to their nest and stay there,” Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin told CBS 42. “So, hopefully we catch them on the roost before they leave the house.”

McCulley, who could not contain her enthusiasm for the drug raids and arrests, chirped at the end of her report, "For deputies, the fight against illegal drugs is a daily battle."
