When burglars broke into her home and stole money and valuable electronics, 4-year-old Abby and her family were terrified and devastated. But when she heard her babysitter's description of the robbers, the little girl realized something was off. That's when she told the officers everything and saved the day.
"Literally in 30 seconds, she changed everything that had been going on for five, six hours," Abby's mother told KCPQ.
It's lucky that 4-year-old Abby is a superhero.
It all happened in the family's home in Ferndale, Washington. Abby's 17-year-old babysitter was watching her when somebody broke into the house and stole a truckload of money and electronics.

"Wednesday was the worst day in my life," Abby recounted. "They told us to get out of the house 'cause they wanted to steal stuff."
Abby said that they took her piggy bank, iPod and two gaming systems.
When investigators came by, the babysitter told them that two black men broke in and robbed them. She described one of them as looking like their next-door neighbor, Cody Oaks.
According to Oaks, the officers then went to his house, handcuffed him and questioned him for several hours.

But when Abby heard her babysitter telling the story, she noticed that the teenager was getting some of the details wrong – the robbers were white, not black. When she told the officers, her babysitter's story crumbled, and she admitted that she made up the whole thing to cover for her 16-year-old boyfriend and another male suspect.
"It's kind of sad because I don't think she realizes the dangerous situation she put me in," Oaks said of the ordeal.
Fortunately, the family got all of their belongings back, thanks to Abby.
"They got it back because of me being the superhero," the 4-year-old said. "That was really her being bad. She's not a good babysitter."
The babysitter and the other two suspects were charged with robbery, burglary and perjury, according to KGO.
