A 16-year-old girl and her boyfriend reportedly shot and killed a man and stole his Playstation 4 in Georgia Friday – and the entire horrific incident allegedly took place in front of her 16-month-old baby.
Daniel John Zeitz, 28, reportedly made plans to meet up with the teen couple after posting an ad on Craigslist in which he offered to sell his PS4, reports Huffington Post. The teen girl who answered his ad, whose name has not been revealed because of her age, allegedly drove with her 20-year-old boyfriend Nathaniel Vivian and her infant to an apartment parking lot where they had agreed to meet Zeitz.

The seller of the gaming console reportedly approached the young couple’s vehicle at about 9:30 p.m. Instead of exchanging money for the PS4, police say Vivian tried to pull it out of Zeitz’s hands. When Zeitz refused to let go of it, the teen girl reportedly pulled out a .25 caliber handgun and shot a bullet through her boyfriend’s hand and into Zeitz’s chest, killing him.
Vivian and his girlfriend sought treatment for his gunshot wound that night at Northside Hospital – and were apprehended for the murder while there.
The 16-year-old was charged as a juvenile and Vivian is being held without bond. The teen’s baby is currently with relatives, according to police.

“Brookhaven police were at the hospital interviewing the injured man, who told them he was a victim of a crime in Brookhaven, but later told them he was shot while he and his girlfriend were at the Legends of Dunwoody Apartments to rob a man of his PS4 video gaming system that was advertised on Craigslist,” said Sandy Springs police Sgt. Ron Momon.
Zeitz’s friends remember him as a gaming enthusiast. A GoFundMe page has been created to help his family with the young man’s funeral expenses.
“Danny was one of those rare people that has all the right qualities – super nice and friendly to people he didn’t know,” said Zeitz’s friend and fellow gamer K.L. Smith. “He was always helping his teammates, his family, his friends. It always hurts to have to see how much someone means to everyone else when they’re gone.”
