| by Michael Allen

An unnamed 14-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly murdering his father Myron Chisem, a Homeland Security agent, in the family room of their Carson, California home.

After Chisem was shot to death with his own weapon, his son called 911.

The boy, whose name has not been released because of his age, told police his father had been shot in the back of the head by a bullet that was fired through a window from the backyard.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton said in a statement: “I am deeply saddened to report that one of our ICE Homeland Security investigations special agents died tragically at his home in the Los Angeles area overnight. This is a difficult time for ICE, especially for the family and the loved ones. Please keep them in your prayers.”
