| by Charles Roberts

At least 12 people were killed on Wednesday in a mass shooting at French satirical news magazine Charlie Hebdo.

Early Wednesday morning, multiple gunmen armed with what multiple reports have described as “machine guns” stormed into the Charlie Hebdo building, located in central Paris, and opened fire.

Originally there were 11 reported deaths, however, over the past hour that number has been raised to 12.

Charlie Hebdo garnered international headlines over the past few years after publishing several very controversial cartoons about Islam.
