A grandmother was reportedly punched in the nose by her dear 11-year-old grandson after she refused to buy a toy in a Dayton, Ohio department store.
According to The Smoking Gun, the incident happened on Saturday at Rose's department store.
60-year-old Barbara Weeks told police that her grandson tried to slug her a second time, but she ran away.
An unidentified witness called 911, police arrived and took the boy into custody, noted the Dayton Daily News.
The child was charged with domestic violence and taken to the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center.
In a happier story, children in South Central Los Angeles are meeting a black Santa Claus.
Langston Patterson, who is black, is playing Santa Claus at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, which is one of the few malls in the US with a black Kris Kringle.
However, the 77-year-old Santa doesn't think his skin color makes him different.
"I never even thought about it," Patterson told the Los Angeles Times. "I'm just giving back and making the kids happy."
Patterson got the job by accident back in 2004 when he was sitting in the mall's food court and a mall employee asked him, "How would you like to be Santa?"
"I just thought I was getting paid to put on a Santa suit and say 'Ho! Ho! Ho!'" added Patterson. "But then I sat down and saw their reactions. I get a chance to make kids happy."
