Country Singer Luke Bryan Slaps Man In Face (Video)

| by John Freund

Country music star Luke Bryan is in hot water after a video emerged of him slapping a man in the front row during his performance at the Charlie Daniels' all-star Volunteer Jam (video below).

WGN-TV reports that Bryan was in concert at the Nashville, Tennessee, event when he stepped off the stage and slapped a man in the face.

According to Rolling Stone, at least two men in the audience were taunting Bryan with crude hand gestures. One was allegedly waving a sign that read, “We can see your camel toe,” in reference to the tight-styled pants Bryan is known to wear.

Bryan reportedly pleads with one of the men before eventually stepping off stage and smacking him in the face. Security then approaches the man and escorts him from the concert.

After the incident, Bryan continued to sing as if nothing had happened.  His publicist later released the following statement:

A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance. It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans – some of [whom] were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.

It is not known if Bryan will be charged with assault or battery at this time.
